Waterstone founder Chris Kuran, a Naval Academy graduate and former Marine, is determined to keep the dream here at home. Chris, his wife, four children and Zoey the dog were born and raised right here in sunny Southern California. Why would we go anywhere else? We want to put people to work. American manufacturing jobs are important and have a positive impact on the U.S. economy. We admit it isn't easy. It's tough, but we found a way to create record sales every year. This led to a building expansion and more importantly - more workers! It can be done and we shouldn't let anyone tell us otherwise. That dream is still alive and Waterstone is determined to help Americans get there.

So, when they say it can't be done, they might be giving up on the American Dream. They say overseas manufacturing is good enough. Well, good enough doesn't cut it with us. You just cannot create a quality product 5000 miles away. Everyday, our team arrives to work from the local neighborhoods and communities. Waterstone Faucets has been in business for over two decades. It was started by Chris Kuran. The initial goal was to offer quality items and finishes to large companies that produced and sold water filtration systems. Eventually, popular demand led to the introduction of residential fixtures.

Hitting this niche gave Waterstone a great opportunity to cater to homeowners who wanted top products for their designer kitchens. Creating water filtration faucets to fit into all types of decor was not an easy task, but the company stepped up to the challenge.

In 2002, Waterstone unveiled its line of decorative filtration faucets. They were marketed and sold to top showrooms around North America. Quickly, this entity became a niche faucet business.

The main manufacturing facility for Waterstone is located in California. Here, products are designed, engineered, manufactured, finished, assembled, tested, and packed. Items are currently available in all 50 states and Canada.

In 2005, another change took place. Thanks to customer encouragement, Waterstone decided to add even more to its lineup. In the process, production capacity was increased. Kitchen faucets and related items were created to specifically match the company's famous water filtration faucets.
